“‘Joan Miró. Women, Birds and Stars’ focuses on the later, consolidated artistic
vocabulary and the woman, bird and star themes of the Catalan artist, who was
heavily inspired by his observations on the Mediterranean geography and people
throughout his long and fruitful career. The exhibition will open a door to the symbolic
language of the artist through a rich selection of a total of 125 artworks – oil and
acrylic paintings, lithographs, etchings, and assemblages with relevant models and
